Our elites own both parties and all government. Since the US is so comfortable there won't be a revolution.
The American people have what they have because they WANT it. They vote for it again and again. Why would they revolt? People don't fight over freedom, they fight over food and money. There's plenty of food and money.
Ain't gwine be no street battles but it never hurts to stock up on useful things. The privately owned weapons in the US likely weigh more than the entire Syrian population and ya see how they throw down.
The choice we really have is what to eat while we watch the show.
