Cable that goes to the Run/Off switch. Cable as in wire.

Have ya got a test light ...??? ... Or a vote meter ... ???

The white wire (Cable) that runs from the Run/Off switch to the coil should be hot (Light is on) when the switch is in the run position....
A test light at the coil will tell the story ....

Thanks. Just got the points in. Seems to have only one cable.

Guessin the switch wire goes on top of the coil and the PI wire on the bottom. Will install it and set the timing first. Wil let you guys know what the outcome is.

Any tips will be helpful though!

Hello good luck!! I got mine from My Dead buddy and I'm doing the same thing. Anyways you can run that bike on 6 wires an old biker told me that shit and it works great I had to take a couple of different wiring schematics that I found online and I will attach the link but it works great. You don't need that rats nest of wires that's behind the headlight but after the six wires you can figure out what you need to do from there for like the blinkers and the horn and all that extra shit. and I strongly recommend that you change the clutch basket from a 3-pin to a 5-pin because you're shifting will be easier it won't hop across an intersection etc I learned so much about fixing bikes by working on this thing that I not afraid to touch anything anymore and they're reliable as hell when you get it moving. Minus the whole AMF argument �� and I'll rattle the panties off any girl on the back every time ��
