So, my build started off with a pretty much bone stock 2003 Softail. Me being me, I didn't bother even test driving it, mainly because it was almost snowing and I knew I wasn't going to ride around with a stock bike.
I started taking it apart the second I got it, just to see what was underneath all that stock bs. At first I wanted to make it into simple bobber, but that seemed a too boring. The mod list isn't that long, the biggest changes were the Paughco exhaust, front forks being shaven and the sissy bar with a Lowbrow fender. The seat is a quick fix atm, will do a custom seat that actually fits it in the winter.
Things left to do: Get a chromed oil tank, bling up the engine, rake it about 10 degrees, custom seat, taller sissy bar, EFI to carb (if anyone has some good tips then let me know), move the foot rests because its kind of cramped right now. The paint is only half way there right now, it will be getting some gold leaf and pin stripes for the next year.
A quick edit I did to see how the raked front end would look like
And here's a pic to show just how the small the bike visually is for me and why I need to make some bigger changes, isn't always that good to be tall, especially when it comes to bikes
Now give me some feedback, can't wait to hear what people think of it
(How the hell can I get the pictures to show bigger in the post)
