Engine is back from the balancer.
Should have a 7500 rpm 2387cc engine happening soon.

I pity the first kid on a 600 sport bike that thinks he is going to blow past this monster

A 600 crotch rocket was not a problem with the old engine.
But a riding buddy had (recently sold) a screaming eagle v rod with pipes and a tune that I could not get around. All the other friends would be long gone with their normal harleys and such and v rod would look back and old man on the trike would still be right there with him.
Wish I could have gotten one more chance with the new rebuild.

With spinning this to 7500 rpm are you doing anything with the #2main bearing , I haven't had any problem with my type 1 motor but I have heard that extend high rpm is hard on the #2 main , or is that solved with the counterbalanced crankshaft and the motor balance .

A lot of that is is made better with the counterweighted crank and the balancing.
Good metal backed bearings like clevite 77 are supposed to be better.
Look closely and you will see the split type metal backed bearings there on the center and the one at cam gear.
