Thanks Guys, i appreciate the feedback. Tank fab itself is actually finished and came out looking great. Due to where we mounted the bottom plate there was some (expected) warping so we pounded everything out pretty straight and im taking my first stab at body filler to smooth everything out. I will post some detailed pictures as soon as I get a coat of primer on it.
Finally got it primered and testing to ensure it doesnt leak. Had it out for a ride yesterday. also shortened the fuel sight to make it staight. let me know what you guys think
Looks awesome. Good job on the tank. Only thing I would have done differently is de tab the frame. Cut off all those mounts and tabs that aren't going to be used any more.

Thanks man, i really appreciate it! I do actually plan to do this at some point. The frame was repainted with a spray can so I can clean up the frame and respray whenever. I always have big plans then life gets in the way so I sprayed it so it didnt rust all to hell. I may go back and do that when i finish painting the tank one of these weekends
Finally painted the tank. Used rattle can paint from a local automotive paint supply store. My first attempt at a real paint job. The clear has a hardener in it so it should hopefully hold up to gas spills. Dont know shit about painting, the entire thing had a terrible orange peel once it cured, was super smooth when first painted. Had to wet sand and polish the shit out of it by hand
