Matrimony will fix that. They eventually fall off like frozen warts. More room for dangling 'roids though so it's a wash.

Itís winter so messing around in the shop

Took off the upsweep pipes/trumpet mufflers and put on drag pipes

Took off the velocity stack and put on a teardrop air cleaner.

If you sprinkle this stuff down the stack @ 6000 RPM it should polish out any scratches. BTW that long rear drag pipe looks like ass, and not the good kind.

My top end cleaner of choice is this

I dispense it over the stack (at the 6000rpms you suggested of course) with a flour sifter works great!

Yeah that pipe is a little ass-ish. Maybe chop a foot off of it???

I've done the Bon Ami trick to seat used rings in a different cylinder and it really does work. We experimented on a CM400 put together from leftovers.

Of course the Clover would be fatal (in case anyone reading this doesn't get sarcasm).

How about doing a new topemd? I have a set of 80” jugs “allegedly” shaved that I could send you when you could bore them & set me up with the proper pistons and do a poor man’s big bore kit? Thoughts?

I read somewhere I think it was you that putting shaved 80” jugs on 74 inch motor with the proper pistons would be a nice setup.

I await your wisdom oh great one

Motor is a 69 1200 Shovel basically stock with an AB cam and Vulcan ign.
