It was made by Nostalgia Cycle (no longer around). I've only seen pics of a few over the years (like 10yrs ago). I don't remember anyone having nice things to say about them.
I think it was an 82" motor? It was something out of the ordinary (80", 84", 86" motors) size-wise. As you mentioned the cases split horizontally and the cylinders are part of the cast aluminum cases.
One thing I never could wrap my head around... How the heck do you put new pistons in it? I mean, you obviously have to split the case horizontally but how can you compress the rings and push both pistons in at once? Seems odd to me. Maybe you can get them in with both at the bottom of the stroke but it "seems fucky" to me and removing the crank to do a top end is silly.Last edited by boomboomthump; 05-12-2016, 11:08 PM. -

Yes I remember that. I think they used 350 4" bore pistons. Kind of a minor deal to me, but neat I guess.Comment

It's not a super vee. It's a nostalgia cycle shovelhead 82ci as boomboomthump stated. Talked to a guy who has ran one for at least 8 years and never had it open. I think I'll go for it. The company may have been shit but I don't have to buy parts from them so who cares...Comment
