That's a good idea. Just got back from a 5000 mile trip on this bike. The reserve tank came in handy so many times, with zero problems.

I think I saw this bike rolling around Va Beach last year, that blue-ish color seems familiar. Loving what you turned it into. That fab work is amazing.

Yeah, that's where I got it from.

Here are a few pics from the trip:

Also before I left I converted to KICK ONLY and made this chain slider so I didn't wear a hole in my oil bag:

So when I rode this cross-country I stopped in sturgis during the rally and won a set of Invaders from LedSled. I got them a few months ago and just got them installed. The hub size was different than what I had. I think I got 2000+ hubs when I needed 99 and earlier, but since I won them I didn't want to pester them. The hub had 2.250 pilots for the sprocket and rotor and was a little narrower, but after some messing around and a ton of measuring, I realized that the rotor was in to correct place and the sprocket needed to be offset by about 1/4". I think you can buy 1/4" offset sprockets in that size and ID, but I just wanted to use what I had.

First I bored the rotor out to 2.25, then I made a spacer for the sprocket, then I bored the sprocket out to 2.5 so that it would still pilot onto the hub. Also made some new spacers for the front and rear wheels.

    Here they are mounted:

These wheels suit the bike sooo good.
How do you like the quality? I'm thinking about a getting 21" front this winter, since I can't find a 21 mag at a good price with a simple flame/spike/skull-less design

Quality is pretty good. Some manufacturing burs on there, maybe from chrome? Like on the brake rotor pilot there was sort of a lip around the outer edge that measured 2.55 but closer to the bolting flange it was 2.40 or so. Not a big deal in the end, just not how I would have done it. Maybe they did it to act as an undercut? But the lip seemed sort of small.

What the hell man? I can barely build a bird house that is 90% complete, out of the box. For someone who is "not a real fabricator (whoever said that must have a mental retardation)," this is absolutely incredible.
