I am certain that "Wing-nut" has many wonderful personality traits that many of us, or those who visit this forum are unaware of. However I never met the guy, and found him to be a total A##. I dont like seeing people take advantage of newbies and his constant posting of Bike chains at $80+ when anyone can buy them at a number of vendors for $35 pissed me off. My forum handle is an inside joke related to some guys local to me related to another forum but i adopted it and made it my own. Probably no lack of people who dislike me as well, but ill say perhaps if in person having a beer with Wing I would totally like the guy?? (or not?) But that happens a LOT on the internet. Perhaps he changes his tune, stops actiing like a dick head and CONTRIBUTES to the community instead of feeding off of it then I would support his return.
But my take is life is too damn short and im too old to put up with idiots and A-holes and no patience for them. If he got kicked off, I too am surprised it took this long.
Maybe someone needs to make him a big poster to put up and stare at "You are either part of the problem or part of the solution, pick one"
