    Converting a 1980 gs550 to kicker

    I just purchased a 1980 Suzuki GS550. This was the first year that they offered electric start only. I am trying to figure out if it is possible to convert this to a kick-start or not. And if it is possible how easy is it and how expensive is it. Has anyone done this? Any tips or tricks?

      Check to see if the kicker plate and internals would match up from a '79. If they do, buy those parts and install. If they don't, buy those parts and make them work.
