Just a little update (sorry no pictures yet). I've been just stupid busy with work and life and Rusty has sat. I have changed out the cylinder gasket but struggling to get the cam gear/sprocket & chain to mount back onto the cam now. I'm hoping to have that finished up this weekend. I was planning on rewiring the bike (better) later this year BUT looks like I'll be doing that sooner. Swap meets are dangerous lol. I snagged another headlight & fairing (off a V-Rod) and digital speedometer. So the cluster is getting a complete makeover. I'm now convinced, I'll never be finished with this bike.

I got so MUCH deserved time to myself in the garage to destress. I spent most of it cleaning and organizing tools & parts. After all that, Rusty got all my attention. Installed the V-rod headlight and fog light. Will be upgrading to an LED later. Tried to fire her up but all she did was "CLICK." Not sure what's up but I'm gonna rewire the whole bike anyway.

Another step back but its bringing me closer to the finish line. I made another cluster and it turned out much better. Next step is to finish re-wiring Rusty, functional check, test ride, then paint.

Now that I have everything in place (lights, switches, etc), it's time for wires. Do I run new ones or clean up the existing one. Help me out.

UPDATE (16 Dec): I've decided to run new wires. Might was well.
