    IDing triumph pre unit

hey guys, over christmas i picked up 2 pre unit bottom ends which are supposed to be 5t's. The engine numbers seem to have been made up, or at least they dont match what i can find online, is there any other way i can ID what ive got?

the case numbers are TIMING E2219 DRIVE E2220 which doesnt match anything in my part book(1956)

    cheers

Only my opinion but I think those part numbers E2219 and E2220 are for earlier 5T's, possibly a 1950 to 1952 Speed Twin, with the small bearings??

drive side is 1 1/8" inner diameter timing is 1" so that means an earlier model. does it mean definitely a speed twin?
i dont have barrels, so need to figure out what they are before i can get some. from what ive read i couldnt run 650 barrels on a 5t?
