Working on finding one more rare piece for this bike...the early sportster gauge mounts and trim covers...factory part numbers 67175-65 and 92084-65...look like this....




Everything else I need is pretty available. One piece at a time...

Pipes are a little crooked on mine. I haven't made the mounts yet. And the front pipe needs clearancing to get back straight after mounting the ride off stand. And the rear pipe is going to need chopping up a little.

And about a million other things. Figured out the tach I have is Aermacchi, I sold that yesterday and got a proper Smiths tach on the way.

Still need all this stuff...
Pan front brake cable
65-66 sportster gauge mounts and trim covers
60s pegs and frame clamps
Pan straight kicker
Pan generator and regulator
Pan riser cover bolts
White grips, still haven't figured out what they are
4" clamp on mirror with 8" stalk or longer
Petcock and plug for English wassell
Pan engine mount without the choke cable bracket
And some other stuff I've forgotten...

kevin, let me know when the intake arrives. just want to know if the usps is doing its job.

I've been doing stuff and getting stuff. Pretty much have almost everything to finish except battery, wiring, paint, and chrome.

I was not happy with the shape of the rear pipe down at the bottom the way it was. This shows how I spliced two different pipes together to make it look right.





I have the trans in and the belt on. This will be enclosed in the stock later pan primary.




This is what the cockpit looks like. The speedo is a little crooked in this photo, it has a newer bracket. I've gotten a proper bracket for it since along with the proper riser cover studs.
