Had a bit of time on Wednesday to get a head start on the weekend.
I managed to connect the forward controls on the shifter side by bending the stock shift lever into an upside down U in a vice.
Also started on the seat. Made a rough template out of paper, and then cardboard...I'll get some metal on Saturday and get a pan made up.
What else did I do...I cleaned up the sissy bar a bit, but still need to grind it down in places before chroming.

Here's the shifter side forward controls connected.
You can see the extra long bolt going through the engine mount...that needs to be shortened...

I think I'll probably ditch those fork boots that I spent so long looking for

it's been a while and it's almost done.
shake down ride was las tweekend - everything was great.
everything has been taken apart, engine comes out tonight, frame gets painted on the weekend and then I start putting it all back together again.
