    Default "All Show"

Ok.....I've officially named my next bike and its theme. We've all said it, all show and no go.......

"All Show", is based on a 1983 CM450A (that's the "no go"). I know, another Hondamatic, what can I say...........I'm gay for 'em.

The original plan was for a lane splitter. After lots of thought and planing, I'm going with another bobber, its what I like. I'm gathering parts right now, and making a pile.

    Default Gathering of parts

Traded for a CB750K rear hub assembly, had a 1968 CL450 front hub hiding in the mess that is my garage, the tank just arrived from Throttle Addiction..........the bike is already built in my mind......now to do it in old and new parts.

Progress, stainless spokes mate my CL450 hub to my HD rim. Going to rap it in an Avon tire.

    Man are these spokes short.

    Custom 7 1/2 deg trees…

And my idea for front and rear brakes, double pull break lever

With a Hondamatic, it's important to hold the bike at a stoplight.

Nice; I was going through threads, and saw this way down in there and wondered what was happening with it.

Working for a living is interfering with my play time.

For my front end. 7 1/2 deg trees will bring the total rake to 52 deg. 4" over GL1000 tubes. I don't think I'm going to need all 4". Clip-ons.

Bead blasted the center of my hubs and painted with clear engine paint, polished the outside. Team Scott Racing swears this is the way to go. Looks good

Where you get that triple tree? Been looking for something like that for my 79 cm400. Would that fit the stock neck without worries?

Nothing wrong with 450s they're a good little slug, I miss my wife's 450 Rebel it was a great little bike. I'd love to pick up another CMX or CB 450 for her as a Mother's Day. Don't knock them too hard they'll give an 883 a good run for their money, they rev like the devil and have a six speed.

I had it custom made.........on a stock raked frame, it will be way too much rake.

My first bike was a '80 CM 400, I painted it, stuck a Jardine header on it, and rode the piss out of it. That thing was a blast!!!!

VM32 Mikuni carbs and some 3" velocity stacks. I used 2" of the 4 over forks.
