Checking for OG springer fork legs

Any good non-invasive way to check if the old fork legs are under this extended springer? Drilling a test hole seems like the only real option but hoping someone has a trick or suggestion.

Side question if anyone feels like taking it on: Ballpark on what these extended OEM forks go for these days? 20" over, 1" steer tube. Decent chrome. Thanks.

No way to check besides cutting them. Worth about 800-1000 as is.
