I considered this as one of my retirement options. But when I owned my boat I did not log enough hours to get my captains license and besides, I didn't really care for many of the rich folks I met while boating, lol.

I just travel the world, but then again there's a pandemic and I'm still broke. LOL

Ha! I know what you mean .I remember hearing rich N.E. Americans referring to their professional nautical staff as 'boat niggers' ...
Got the same issue in the UK with horses, love horses, they love me. Don't love English horsey people. Arrogant M.F.s.

Boat people, Horse people, it's the temptation of entitlement that wealth brings.

The trick is to say humble when your pockets are full of cash.

My dream is to become a Benevolent Dictator of a small island nation.....a drink and a smoke for everyone at every sunset.....Cheers!

Best answer I ever heard was "nothing". As in "I'd own nothing".
    "I'd rent it".
Think about it . True freedom.
Rent a house wherever you want. Already furnished with Whatever cars , bikes clothes , bus size smoker grill, etc. that you want.
Get tired of it and want to live somewhere else ? Leave it all behind and have whatever you want already to go at the new location. Plenty of houses and apartments in this world that are built with whatever view your heart desires without having to go through that major hassle yourself .
Hire a personal assistant , designer ,or whoever to make it happen.
No worries about packing shit up, insurance companies, selling the house , forget it all.
Just take a flight to your new location and walk right in,all ready to go.
Transmission blew on the rented Ferrari ?
Call someone to pick you up and leave it behind.
    Not your problem.

If money was not an "option" then I'd do something with no money.
If money was not an "object" it would be a totally different story.

I would spend a lot on new choppers, their customising. That is my hobby (only 1 of them). But I guess that if to take it serious then it would be boring to death to live when you have tons of money, my opinion.

I would never wear the same socks twice. I waste so much time looking for a pair of damn matching socks every day (plus for my 6 year old son) that it drives me crazy. I’d just like to have an automatically recurring Amazon order for socks show up on my front porch every week, and I would put new socks on every morning and throw them away at night.

Isn't that the car which appears several times in Dr Dre's famous clip?
