Default king and queen seat for evo ?

    hey dudes

I am looking for a high king and queen seat for my 97 swingarm sporty. I put a badass 3ft sissy bar on it, and I wanna complete my build with an old school [looking] seat.

Any suggestions on where to buy?

I have one just like this that I had on my sporty before the hardtail. I love that seat. It is so comfy, I keep it just in case I ever get a swingarm sporty again. I think I payed $75 for a mint one and it was worth every penny.

PLEASE post pics of your setup if you can. I'm somewhat contemplating the same idea. The Haifley Bros setup looks pretty rad. Have yet to see some pics on a swing arm bike.....that or I'm not looking hard enough

I looked into sportster king/ queens quite a bit. From what I saw, nobody can compete with Haifley Bros. Pricey but beautiful.

What seats off ebay? I can't see 4444's post, and I search ebay but only find ironhead king queens no evo swingarm.

I bet its the 82 xlch or roadster one. Harley had some kind of throwback sportster around 82 that came with this seat. I scored one thats been recovered in a tuck and roll recently. It doesnt have a part number or anything. Its abs plastic with a front mount that will work up to 03. Also the queen upright is super flimsy on its own. The only thing is the nose of the seat doesnt clear the back of the tank on mine (02 custom). its real close though. I saw one go for fuckin $350 about 2 weeks ago so im guessing their getting rare. i see them on fleabay here and there, usually worded goofy so get creative in your searches.

Anyone have a pic of the BOTTOM of a Haifley swingarm seat where it hooks into the tab? Thats the real question. I think its very doable but the seat mount is the killer. I mean its $10 in 16g steel...you can bend that by hand.

Sorry for my ugly mug in the pic. It was the only one I could find right now. That's the Harley K&Q seat for Sporties. Picked it up a few months ago.

That Haifley one is very nice looking, but seriously, try making one yourself. Steel and foam should run you under $50. The style isn't very hard to make. If you made a sissy, I'll assume you have some basic welding skills. Shape the pan, weld in a support where you want the hump, foam it and have someone cover it. Boom, seat.

Is this for an older sportster? Where'd you pick this up at? I was thinking the Drag Specialties one for Ironheads might work, but if there's one specifically for evo sportsters, that'd be more gooder.

Sorry to bump a thread a few months old, but I've been wondering about CriminalKZ's seat as well. I like it better than the Haifley in this case. I just think the Harley original looks tighter, like it really belongs on a swingarm.

If memory serves, that seat was actually made for Ironheads and would have to be modified for an Evo? Anyone know?

Used an old 70's kq off a hardtail. Cut 4-5" out of the middle and welded it back together. Or get done sheet metal and make one to fit your bike. The haifley seat is killer but you'll get exactly what you want making it for your bike and cheaper.

When you figure how much you make an hour, all the hours you will look for something to fit, shipping, work...makes more sense to just get Haifley Bros Seat.
You will have it for years!

I changed the back of the bike tho so I was able to fit the fender to it
It's a Swingarm stretch and I cut the rails off and made new ones at a different height
