    Default More sportster noise

I have a 96 sportster 883 with a 1200 kit in it and recently noticed a noise coming from what sounds like the primary or the bottom end but I only seem to hear it on decel until the bike is completely warmed up. The noise is a higher pitched whirring that almost sounds like a skateboard wheel with bad bearings in it. Last week I replaced the clutch hub bearing and the smaller bearing around the clutch adjuster and the noise seemed to have gone away until this morning. Anybody have any ideas? This thing is driving me insane.

make sure the primary chain tension is set correctly. it's common for people to accidentally crank on the tensioner adjustment thinking it's the oil drain plug. Don't mean to imply you don't know what you're doing, but shit happens.
