This was my first attempt at painting anything... I did it in my front yard, in the wind, some of it by flashlight... while walking up hill to school, both ways, in the snow. All Duplicolor. Far from perf, but it was fun.
Here's how it looks today, after goin' down with it last week. Stoked it was on.

Ashy...
Hey, man... good to see you're reppin' for Dean! Blotto rules - rad guy.
I'm stoked it protected my head, too. I don't usually wear one, but was riding out to Hood and didn't have anywhere to carry it til I hit Oregon. So I carried it on my head, which worked out well for me.
As for the background, nothin' special. Long lens and a big aperture (smaller number) will blow it out of focus for ya'.

Haha... say background and my mind immediately defaults to photography. That's my livelihood... sorry.
Ask whatever you want on the paint, man... I've got photos of every step of the process. It's retarded how easy it is.

helmet
this is my first attempt at painting one. and i also had my first attempt at striping as well.
start using glitter over the base with clear
then i taped off some panels
after i taped the panels i laid some lace on top .. this lace is from wal mart.
after the lace i sprayed the yellow.. after i did this i was made aware that i should have used some transparent paint.. like from duplicolor.. but i was unaware .. and then i faded some brown onto the panels.
[
i peeled the tape from the helmet and then i taped over the panels and painted another color blue for the backgroound.. shoulda been transparent.. but i dig the colors.. my pinstriping is a purple.. looks cool in my opinion. gets some attention. ha.
