Howdy y'all now this might seem like a dumb ass question but what type of fuel/gas should i be putting in my bike. Its a 1960 sportster bored to a 1200 and also stroked?

The answer to your question is a question(s). What compression ratio is she? And does she ping?
I have to burn 93 with octane booster in my 10.5:1 alloy headed shovel.
Iron tends to run a little hotter and needs more octane for a given comp ratio.If it pings under load, try throwing fuel at it with carb jetting, until power starts to fall off or plugs start to fuel foul.
If you end up too rich, back the jetting off and tweak the final timing advance. Careful here, it'll run hot if set too retarded. And you still want it to start easy...
If tuning don't kills the ping , you need higher octane guzzoline.
