There's a lot of problems right now that need to be addressed. Real ones.
Sadly. I don't feel as though Americans have many advocates in DC at the moment. I think they haven't for a very long time.
All I see when I look at that place is a very developed and thoroughly bipartisan political class who spend most of their time accommodating special interests, to the detriment of everyone else.
I can think of no coherent argument for the continued existence of this self dealing class in American politics, today.
