Sorry you cannot normalize Trump's behavior, he is an abomination of our system. But that is the thing about our system, it is based on people behaving for the greater common good. It was not anticipated that someone like Trump would not only be given power, but that the weasels that call themselves republican legislators would shirk there duty in order to stay in power.

But our system does anticipate the Trump's and the Andrew Jackson's and Teddy Roosevelt's and Hoovers. That is the beauty of it. A 4 year term (or two) and you're out. It lets the pendulum swing, constantly crossing the sweet spot. Now, if they'd apply term limits to congress and the senate, things may happen closer to what the populace calls for.Comment
