When he was first elected I wondered how the right would control him. His deep supporters said he would never bow to the party and they would have to do his bidding. Are we seeing a Machiavellian take over here? This shit is getting deep brothers and sisters.

“Frustrated, Angry, Exhausted, Sad”: Trump Administration Officials Know The Roof Is Caving In

By Sean Colarossi on Wed, May 17th, 2017 at 8:54 pm

Administration officials are trying to remain calm in public, but privately, they know the train is coming off the track.

“Frustrated, Angry, Exhausted, Sad”: Trump Administration Officials Know The Roof Is Caving In
Not even those inside Donald Trump’s White House can pretend that things in the administration haven’t totally gone off the rails.

According to reporting by NBC’s Hallie Jackson, those inside the White House – or those with connections to administration officials – say that the West Wing is in total collapse.

Jackson reported: “If you were to make a word cloud, I think these are the words that you would include: Frustrated, angry, exhausted. Sad is one word that somebody said. Demoralized. I heard the phrase ‘body blows,’ as in what has happened over the past week. The series of events that has occurred.”

These aren’t words coming from Trump’s critics – these are inside sources at the White House.

It’s clear that publicly, administration officials and most GOP members of Congress are still trying to remain calm and protect the president simply because he’s a Republican.

But privately, the roof is beginning to cave in as one unprecedented revelation after another is reported to the public.

These developments – the firing of James Comey, the reporting that Trump demanded loyalty from Comey and asked him to halt the Michael Flynn investigation, the fact that Trump divulged classified intelligence to the Russians, today’s news that House majority leader Kevin McCarthy said Trump was being paid by Putin, and now the appointment of a special prosecutor – are all forcing Republicans into a corner.

The GOP may not have found their spines yet when it comes to putting country above their political agenda, but it’s only a matter of time before they, too, have had enough of what appears to be a massive cover-up by this president.

TRUMP’S GHOSTWRITER ISSUES DIRE WARNING ABOUT HIS DANGEROUS CURRENT MENTAL STATE

BY SHANNON BARBER NEWS, POLITICS MAY 18, 2017

Tony Schwartz is a man who knows Donald Trump well. He spent nearly two years glued to Trump’s side as they wrote Trump’s famous book, The Art of the Deal. During this time, Schwartz learned some very disturbing things about Trump’s broken personality, and for this reason, felt deep remorse for helping to make Trump as famous as he is.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, Schwartz tirelessly warned America that this man was dangerous, that he had no conscience, that he had no soul, that he would be gravely dangerous as president. Now that a Trump presidency has come to pass, and the Trump White House is mired in deep scandal, Schwartz is speaking out again, to warn the nation and world about Trump’s dangerous mental state.

Schwartz has written a piece in the Washington Post explaining Trump’s recent behavior, who the man is, his current state of mind, and the impulsive and dangerous actions that are sure to come.

On Wednesday evening, Schwartz appeared on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360. He told host Anderson Cooper of Trump’s likely mental state regarding the series of blows and events relating to the incompetence of his administration, and especially the Trump/Russia collusion investigation:

“I think he’s reacting from a survival place. He’s in pure defensive mode. I think that he’s being run by the part of his brain that’s reactive and impulsive, not capable of reflection.”

“The sense of siege that he feels because his sense of self-worth is so, so vulnerable that the series of things that have happened are overwhelming to him.”
In other words, right now, Trump is like a caged animal who is feeling attacked, and he is not thinking clearly at all. It’s pure impulse and reaction. Trump is dangerously impulsive on a good day. There’s no telling what he is capable of when he is feeling this attacked and aggrieved.

These are dangerous times, America. The man who is supposedly leading us is desperate and unhinged. Hopefully, someone in a position to do something about him steps up, for the good of the nation and the world.

TRUMP ADMINISTRATION SURRENDERS; STAFFERS ARE ALREADY PASSING AROUND THEIR RESUMES (DETAILS)

BY VERA NEWS, POLITICS MAY 18, 2017

The last two weeks of Donald Trump’s presidency have been riddled with bombshell after bombshell over his Russia scandal, and it’s definitely taking a toll on his administration. Apparently, things in the White House have gotten so grim that staffers are looking forward to the end and have already started to send out their resumes.

The Washington Post reported that ever since Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, the mood in the White House has been worse than ever. The staffers have felt “paralyzed” and senior officials have been moping around “with funeral looks on their faces.” While Trump’s staffers feel absolutely helpless as their boss continues to become more erratic and create more PR nightmares, the POTUS has only become more furious and frustrated at his staff for not being able to keep up.

              The Post wrote:

Some White House staffers have turned to impeachment gallows humor. Other mid-level aides have started reaching out to consultants, shopping their resumes. And at least one senior staffer has begun privately talking to friends about what a post-White House job would look like, according to two people close the staffer.
Another report by TIME magazine said something similar, stating that West Wing aides have started “shopping résumés to think tanks, super PACs and corporate communications firms.”

And when you think of what these staffers have had to deal with, it’s no wonder. According to one mid-level aide, staffers are exhausted and have no hope that conditions under Trump’s chaotic leadership will improve:

“Just when you think the pace is unsustainable, it accelerates. The moment it gets quiet is when the next crisis happens.”
This news also comes on the heels of rumors that Trump is considering a major staff turnover in the near future – which may include senior aides like chief of staff Reince Priebus, press secretary Sean Spicer and communications director Mike Dubke. Clearly, the chaos is far from over.

THE SH*T HITS THE FAN: WHITE HOUSE ADVISERS TELL TRUMP TO LAWYER UP

Posted by Conover Kennard on 18 May 2017

Alleged president Donald Trump is in a bigly amount of trouble. It’s the kind of trouble even an amateur could have avoided but conservatives thought a 70-year-old former reality show star could take on the most difficult job in the world.

Trump has been urged to retain an experienced outside lawyer by several White House advisers and personal associates of his. They want him to lawyer up over his campaign’s alleged ties to Russia, according to several people briefed on the conversations, the New York Times reports.

This was even before a special counsel was appointed on Wednesday to lead the investigation into any collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russian officials. At first, Trump appeared to take the appointment of former FBI Director Robert Mueller well. It was almost as if Trump didn’t write the statement released in which he appeared as if he had nothing to hide. Then this morning, the so-called leader of the free world had a meltdown in front of the world on Twitter.

And then there’s the Comey memos.

Mr. Trump’s aides and allies were said to be especially concerned by the revelation that James B. Comey, the F.B.I. director fired by Mr. Trump, has contemporaneous, detailed memos reconstructing conversations with the president…

Mr. Trump has signaled he is likely to hire a new lawyer, but has not yet made a decision, according to three people who have spoken with him. Aides to Mr. Trump did not immediately comment on his discussions.

Mr. Trump is said to recognize that he needs help beyond the White House counsel. But he is deeply cautious in selecting people he trusts, and he adds new people to his orbit slowly.

Trump even knew that disgraced General Michael Flynn was under federal investigation before the inauguration, but he hired him anyway.

Trump has issues with accepting blame with the chaos he creates. Instead, he has criticized his staff, then later, throws them under the bus by countering the defense they offered him on the airwaves. Usually, he does this on Twitter, which garners him the attention he constantly seeks. Two people who have had direct discussions with Trump, say he has spared no one, including the White House counsel.

Meanwhile, White House staffers have begun shopping around their resumes like rats from a sinking ship. Trump stands alone with no one left to defend him. Trump’s staffers who defended him publicly on TV each morning are now silent.

Kellyanne Conway, where are you, girlfriend? She usually crawls out of her crypt to defend Trump but now, she’s MIA. It’s every man and woman for themselves.

              Trump, you’re all alone.

Notice there is no mention that many of the staff members are from the Obama admin. They wanted out anyway. Once the special counsel goes to work you are going to have to thrive on made up shit to copy and paste as former FBI director Mueller is a squared away Marine and too buttoned up to allow any part of the investigation to be made public till its time. If you are a Trump hater I wouldn't get to excited yet. These types of investigations take a long time. Plenty of rabbit holes to explore in this one including DNC involvement. The democRATS got the special investigation they wanted but if the results don't fit their narrative they will accuse Mr. Mueller of a partisan investigation. The resistance will never be happy.

Sorry, he won. He is POTUS till you get him impeached or he serves out one or hopefully two terms. Might throw a few bucks of the bet money to Hillary since she is "back" with her new Onward together scam. Hope she runs....again.

TRUMP STAFFERS ARE SO STRESSED OUT BY HIS CRAZINESS THEY NEED SUPPORT GROUPS

Posted by Shannon Barber on 18 May 2017

Working for Donald Trump is the most stressful (and possibly career-ending) job in Washington right now. The big orange boss constantly undercuts the statements he sends his lackeys out to make in order to defend his never ending series of crises, he could be involving them in criminal behavior, and, most of all, they have to deal with Trump’s wildly careening and unpredictable moods and behavior. Reportedly, working in Trump’s White House is so stressful that the staffers there are now in need of support groups. From the Washington Post:

As Donald Trump has grown increasingly angry and frustrated with his White House staff, the beleaguered targets of his ire have a quietly roiling gripe of their own — their boss, the president himself.

Since he fired FBI Director James B. Comey, Trump has lurched through crises of his own making — from the explosive report Monday that he had revealed highly classified intelligence to Russian officials to the bombshell Tuesday that he had urged Comey to end the federal investigation into Michael Flynn, his former national security adviser.

In his wake remain his exhausted aides and deputies, the frequent targets of Trump’s wrath as they struggle to control an uncontrollable chief executive and labor to explain away his stumbles.

So, Trump is just as abusive a boss as we all imagined, only it seems it’s about a million times worse than has previously been reported. The staff there can’t control him. He literally makes it impossible for them to do their jobs and then blames them for his own lies and incompetence. This has gotten so out of control that it is literally ruining their mental health. Again, from the Washington Post:

For many White House staffers, impromptu support groups of friends, confidants and acquaintances have materialized, calling and texting to check in, inquiring about their mental state and urging them to take care of themselves.

One Republican operative in frequent contact with White House officials described them as “going through the stages of grief.” Another said some aides have “moved to angry,” frustrated with a president who demands absolute loyalty but in recent days has publicly tarnished the credibility of his team by sending them out with one message — only to personally undercut it later with a contradicting tweet or public comment.

And a third said that others are sticking around purely for self-interest, hoping to juice their future earning potential. This Republican added that any savvy White House staffer should be keeping a diary. “The real question is, how long do you put up with it?” this person said. “Every one of those people could get a better-paying job and work less hours.”

These people need to do two things: First, they need to lawyer up. They will likely be called to testify when it comes to Trump’s potentially criminal behavior. They might even be implicated in criminal activity themselves, considering the fact that Trump demands absolute loyalty, and no matter how outrageous the statement or act, it’s either do it or lose their jobs, and likely have Trump and his goons make sure their lives are ruined. Secondly, they need to resign before the shit hits the fan. Trump is going down, but they still have time to admit they made a mistake and save themselves.

All in all, these people are in a living hell. Then again, all of this, considering Trump’s behavior on the campaign trail, was completely predictable. None of these staffers deserve an iota of sympathy because they knew what they were getting into when they went to work for this evil, soulless, lying, bigoted, opportunistic, narcissistic, sorry excuse for a human being.

Better get out now, snowflakes. The end is near.

BREAKING: ‘IT’S NOW A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION’ SAYS SPECIAL PROSECUTOR, TRUMP TO GET ATTORNEY

BY ANTIPHON FREEMAN NEWS, WORLD MAY 18, 2017

Robert Mueller, appointed by the Justice Department as special counsel to oversee the investigation into Trump’s ties with Russia, just confirmed with Republican leadership under questioning that he sees this more as a criminal investigation, and will not treat it as a general intelligence probe.

GOP Senator Lindsey Graham spoke with reporters on Thursday (broadcast on CNN) and said that was the key takeaway leaders received after speaking with him. He repeated the claim, “this is now a criminal investigation.”

Trump has been advised to retain an outside lawyer to help defend himself against any potential charges that may arise.

As special counsel, former FBI Director Robert Mueller will have broad authority to prosecute Donald Trump. Additionally, the letter appointing Mueller specifically authorizes him to examine and prosecute “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.”

If there’s a criminal investigation that means there is reason to suspect collusion. This is no small announcement. That means there is also probable cause. It also means they may be looking at the issue of obstructing justice.

Trump has stated numerous times that “there was no collusion.” Former Director James Comey is set to release a series of memos he recorded of his conversations with Trump, in addition to the one where he already acknowledged that Trump asked him to end the Flynn investigation. This in and of itself has brought Trump the “obstruction of justice” accusations. And, it’s leading several lawmakers to ask that he be impeached.

If history is any guide, that means Trump is on the line for any misdeeds he may have committed as president – not limited to the Russia investigation. Remember the Ken Starr investigation into President Bill Clinton? It started with the Whitewater scandal and ended up leading to revelations about Monica Lewinsky and his lying about the affair.

Currently, the FBI is investigating the evidence of possible contacts, money transfers and business relationships between several Trump associates and Russian officials. The investigation is wide-reaching.

I know how you feel about Trump from your posts. This whole thread is taking on a Michael Moore vibe. I will probably slow down on my comments as they are repetitious and taking up valuable copy and paste space. If the democRATS think this investigation is gaining traction I would suggest to get patient. Special counsel on both Reagan and Bill Clinton lasted a long time. This isn't going to go like the short checkout line at the grocery.
