Sean Spicer's upside-down tie pin at the press briefing was either a subconscious cry for help or more proof that the White House is full of people who don't pay attention to detail.

Reporters had to point out to Spicer that he had his flag pin on wrong via The Washington Post:

“Your pin’s upside-down,” Fox News’s John Roberts said.

“John Roberts, always helping with the fashion tips,” Spicer quipped.

“It’s still upside-down,” another reporter said.

“‘House of Cards’?” someone else asked.

“There’s no promo,” Spicer assured the reporters.

Spicer told reporters that he is fine, which is what one would expect any hostage to say.

All kidding aside, the Spicer upside-down flag pin is a reminder that the Trump administration is made up of sloppy people who do not pay attention to detail. There is sloppiness everywhere in the Trump administration from rushed Executive Orders that violate the Constitution to transcripts and press releases that contain typographical errors through their error-filled social media communications with the public.

This is not a White House that thinks things through or has an eye for detail.

The Trump White House is full of people who keep demonstrating that they are not up to the job, and the epicenter of the problem is the man occupying the Oval Office.

Trump Fires All 46 Remaining US Attorneys Out Of Fear That Obama’s Out To Get Him

Less than a week after President Trump made his allegation that President Obama wiretapped him, he has fired all 46 remaining US attorneys that were appointed by Obama.

The New York Times reported:

Sarah Isgur Flores, a Justice Department spokeswoman, said in an email that all remaining holdover United States attorneys had been asked to resign, leaving their deputy United States attorneys, who are career officials, in place in an acting capacity.

“As was the case in prior transitions, many of the United States Attorneys nominated by the previous administration already have left the Department of Justice,” she said in the email. “The Attorney General has now asked the remaining 46 presidentially appointed U.S. Attorneys to tender their resignations to ensure a uniform transition.”

Before Trump made his wiretap allegations against the former president, he blamed Obama for the leaks that have plagued his administration.

The mass firings come less than a day after Sean Hannity viewer Trump watched the Fox News host call for a purge of everyone who worked against him in government. Fox News and conservative websites are fueling Trump’s paranoid mentality.

It is not unusual for presidents to replace the US attorneys with their own appointees, but most presidents outside Clinton in 1993, do this gradually. They also don’t gut the attorneys at the Justice Department days after accusing the former administration of wiretapping them.

The Friday massacre style dismissal reeks of Trump administration paranoia. The Trump administration believes that holdovers from the previous administration are the problem.

The mass firing isn’t unprecedented, but it a sign of the mounting instability within with the White House.

Malcolm Nance Calls Trump Out On AM Joy: He’s A Dangerous “Conspiracy Theory President”
Counterterrorism expert Malcolm Nance pulled no punches on Saturday morning, telling Joy Reid of MSNBC’s AM Joy that Donald Trump is a “conspiracy theory president” who has no business being in control of America’s nuclear arsenal.

Nance’s comments came after Reid asked him whether any previous president has “actively worked to undermine the trust of government from within” by using alt-right conspiracies to inform his decision-making.

Nance tore into Trump, calling him a “conspiracy theory president” and adding that he’s “not even sure whether you can put those three words together in a tangible sentence and actually use the word president.”

Referring to Trump’s recent paranoid conspiracy theory that former President Obama illegally wiretapped Trump Tower during the campaign, the intelligence expert said, “He seems to be buying every crazy idea that’s out there.”

Nance continued:

Now, granted, the man can’t seem to tell the truth about anything and the worst part is, like Jennifer Rubin, she wrote an article I guess a few weeks ago questioning whether he could actually determine what was real and what was false in his world. This is dangerous, and as much as it sounds amusing, we can make jokes about it, he controls 4,000 atomic weapons. He controls the levers of power in the United States. If he’s going out with Steve King and others in Congress and saying that the former Preident of the United States wiretapped a conversation he had a few weeks ago with the president of Australia, I mean we have got a very serious problem here. This man may be in a position where he will start causing true harm to American democracy because he doesn’t know the difference between what American democracy is and the crazy things which he’s told by people like Steve Bannon and other parts of the alt-right world.

It’s one thing for right-wing extremists to go on Twitter and spew ridiculous conspiracy theories, like Trump’s most infamous lie that President Obama was born in Kenya. In the past, this was something that rational Americans could laugh at and then quickly carry on with their day.

Now, that person is the President of the United States. It’s not some meaningless babble any longer. Instead, it’s informing his decisions as commander-in-chief. And as Nance said, this is a “very serious problem” that could soon inflict major damage on American democracy.

This is what happens when a commander-in-chief gets his briefings from Alex Jones and Breitbart instead of people who have a clue about the world.

ACLU To Hold ‘Resistance Training’ So Americans Can Fight Trump’s Dangerous Policies
The American Civil Liberties Union is trying to channel the surge of anti-Trump energy with a first-ever “resistance training” planned for Saturday, which weeks to help newly motivated progressives take on the dangerous policies of Donald Trump.

The event is called PeoplePower and will live stream from Miami and be seen by thousands of local organizations across the country.

According to Reuters, the training will focus on issues that have been front-and-center during the early weeks of the Trump administration, like immigration, freedom of speech and reproductive rights. The new White House has already set the country back in each of those areas, from enacting a Muslim ban, limiting access to the press, and supporting a health care bill that defunds Planned Parenthood.

On Saturday’s edition of AM Joy, Padma Lakshmi, who will give a presentation during the live stream, described the first weeks of the Trump administration as an “emergency” and said the training is a chance for people to fight back.

She said, “There is an emergency going on and I don’t know what it’s going to take for people to say, ‘You know what, enough is enough.'”

As Reuters also points out, the resistance training is a “shift” from the legal tactics the ACLU normally focuses on, but the group’s executive director says roughly 135,000 have already signed up. Just since Trump’s election, ACLU has seen its membership triple.

Clearly, progressives across the country are more motivated now than they have been in a long time. If Trump wants to push dangerous policies that fly in the face of American democracy, he’ll first have to get past a united and empowered opposition.

Ah yes, the popular vote theory. The electoral college is what determines the winner of the general election. Trump won the electoral college. Had the role been reversed and Hildacunt won the electoral and Trump won the popular the democRATS would be schooling us on why there is an electoral college process. I'm not debating you about the electoral college numbers. I'm simply saying people did vote. I'm not a Democrat or Republican over here so you have no reason to sway that. California is part of our nation so saying that if we "take it away" that he wins the popular vote makes zero sense. As long as California is part of the U.S. then it's going to count.

This Top Ethics Lawyer Just Blasted Trump For Letting “KGB Agents” Into The White House

Last night on CNN, on of the George W. Bush administration’s ethics lawyers tore into Donald Trump for his outrageously corrupt and inept foreign security maneuvers, saying that there are “KGB agents running around the West Wing.” While the KGB itself is a relic of the Soviet Union, attorney Richard Painter was clearly referring to contemporary Russian operatives.

Trump admitted yesterday that he had hired disgraced former General Michael Flynn to be his national security adviser despite knowing that Flynn was an unregistered foreign agent.

Flynn had been working for the Turkish government to promote its interests in America. He was literally being paid to push Turkey’s agenda in American policy making, not America’s agenda.

On top of that, Flynn was already ousted weeks ago from the White House for have sensitive, and probably illegal, communications with Russian officials and then lying about his contacts.

Attorney Richard Painter was stunned by Trump’s mismanagement of national security affairs and his willingness to put personal relationships above national interests.

Painter said,

“It makes no sense to run a government this way. This is a completely chaotic situation, and then Gen. Flynn lied about his contacts with the Russians, lied to the vice president, and we’ve had the attorney general in testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee say he did not contact the Russians when he had contacts with the Russians.”

He continued,

“People [in Trump’s White House] are not being honest about their foreign contacts, and talk about this “deep state theory” as if there are somehow Obama moles in the government under the Trump administration. It’s the KGB agents running around the West Wing or the national security council.”

Finally, directly attacking Flynn for his foreign agent work, Painter destroyed any semblance of a defense for what Flynn did:

“Recent news reports have revealed that Lt. Gen. Flynn was receiving classified briefings during the presidential campaign while his consulting firm, Flynn Intel Group, Inc., was being paid to lobby the U.S. Government on behalf of a foreign government’s interests.”

The catastrophic Trump administration goes beyond the traditional liberal-conservative divide. Particularly when it comes to national security, whatever our political beliefs are we all have an interest in ousting Trump.

Painter is not afraid to speak out against a Republican president, despite having served under the most recent prior Republican president. This is a matter of American lives and common decency.

Time for Congress to step up and do the right thing: Impeach Trump.

gop american health care The American Health Care Act, the GOP's "replacement" for the Affordable Care Act (also known as Obamacare), is speeding through the House - two committees approved it last week, a third committee will act this week, and Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) says he'll bring it to the floor before the April 7 recess.

It wouldn't be so bad if they cut things to balance the budget but tax the average and poor to give to the rich is pretty much the tax policy that lead to the Revolutionary War.
