No idea. My bedroll is a permanent fixture on the bike, and it blocks my speedo. I'd guess my average is around 60mph. I spend most of my time on surface streets.

no speedo. I would imagine around 45'ish. I putt and don't get in a hurry. Much rather enjoy the ride instead of look at it as a rat race to only stop.

    Depends...

In the mountains, my bike is happiest in 4th at 3100rpm so about 75 - lets me drop RPMS to 2800k in a corner and still have pull to 4k coming out...

I don't ride by MPH but by contact patch/lean angle/RPM/road ahead

How fast I go generally depends on whether or not I see any cops around. I know certain spots where cops will sit and wait for speeders, so I go slower around those spots.

If I don't see any cops around, on side streets I typically ride around 10 mph faster than whatever the posted speed limit is, and 20 mph faster on the freeway. I'm never in a hurry, but I enjoy "opening her up" a little and going fast sometimes. What's the point of having 1100cc's if I'm not going to use them once in a while.

I don't have a speedo on my daily rider, but I can pretty much tell from "feel" and experience how fast I'm going.

X2 out of curiosity I downloaded the speed box app for my phone to check and it's amazing how close I get just by feel.

I usually cruise at 70 on my 99. Its just the way that its set up with the gearing and the belt drive. It feels most comfortable at 70. More than that and the vibes are a little excessive (but more importantly it spits up oil a greater amount.) I attribute the oil puking condition to the previous owner. Looks like hes been in the head and didn't put them back on correct- may be blocking a breather.

I usually like to cruise at least at 80mph. I'll eventually spring for a chain conversion, and have my gearing setup to allow that speed on my chop.

And where the fuck did you get a flux capacitor? Because I want one!

I have a short ride to work but its a steep short hill. 666 ft elevation at the top, 240 at the bottom. About 60 downhill where it's posted 45, about 70 in a 55 the rest of the way to the gate then 30 on the lease, my job is worth more than pissing off security. On the way home about 70 all the way, up the hill it's posted 35 . It's nice and twisty and they just resurfaced it an repainted 2 lanes down into one. Each direction is a 10 minute adrenaline rush!
