    plug hole blow by

After a recent blown piston I swapped out oem for 10-1 forged .01+ Pistons. Now I'm getting blow by on the front plug hole. So far I'm looking at save-a-plug helicol. Anyone ever tried this or should I just say fuck it and get a new head?

I'd try the helicoil, cheap and usually pretty reliable

Remember to use the full barrel insert style and not any old "coil" insert kits on spark plugs in aluminum heads. I refuse to use "coil" inserts in my motorcycles and haven't since the 1980s. I like TIME-SERT but would use a modern Heli-Coil kit like below, You can find some on Amazon.

        Example Heli-Coil bushing style kit.
