Can I ask what's up with the rear fender??????? Or what is that below the fender I guess.......

I must say, THAT is one interesting build! I really like it! I'm not even a fan of hardtails whatsoever but still like it...I think it's the juxtaposition of old and new, coupled with the top notch execution of the build that make it so interesting - bravo!
License plate and light mount a' la Ducati Diavel...

We have had to put a floating fender at the back to house the registration plate and indicators / reg plate light. The bike needs to go through SVA inspections in the UK because the frame and headstock were completely hand built. Its a pain in the ass because it restricts your design but its the only way to get it on the road. Good thing is it comes off

Thanks very much, its been an interesting project. I must say that when my friend suggested that we use the hornet i just laughed, its not the traditional bike to use but we have managed something there i think. I am not a massive fan of hardtails myself but they are the easiest to build and an easy design for us to start with at low cost. The next project will be something a little more comfortable to ride i think
