Lantern Tail Lights!?

I'd like to see some pics of lantern tail lights if anyone has them. Ones kind of like this:



All I've ever seen are the ones on Model Ts and Grandpa Munster's Dragula. Show me some choppers with these things on 'em.

Ron Finch made those top ones in the 60's and 70's if I'm not mistaken, you can get them on ebay if you keep your eyes open, but they're pricey... or wait and try to find them at a swap meet.

Ahhh, the Munsters. I grew up watching that show... I guess that makes me old.
The day I can't hold my bike up, is the day I get old or maybe I'll get a Trike.

I think this is a Finch I stole it somewhere while I was collecting pics for my blog kinda like I'm gonna steal a few of those above.

I bought one of those Finch ones about 5 years ago...paid $150 for it. So they're out there, but not cheap. As some of the others mentioned, watch Ebay and check swap meets. I don't know of anyone currently re-popping these.

I found this old Finch ad some time back, I thought it was cool, maybe you guys will too. Nice example of his Lamp light. I love the old prices!

I'm giving it to my buddy. He's been looking for one forever. If I come across another soon for a good price, I'll sell it for what I paid for it plus shipping.
There's one on sleezebay now, but the price is ridiculous.

here’s a lantern for ya. i think it was originally a driving light on a 1904 or so C-cab delivery truck:



it’ll stay lit up to about 40mph. best use is for finding the machine in the middle of the field after the concert lets out late at night. or keeping the skeeters away while roadside camping.
