So bare with me, I'm still relatively new to this whole bike building thing and don't have anyone I lnow local to show me the ropes, so this is a learn as I go type deal and unfortunately y'all are my sounding board haha
I'm trying to setup a narrow front end for my '01 sporty. It should have 39mm forks with the stock triple trees. I want to use the Mullins chain drive super narrow trees coupled with the 41mm fork tubes with either their hub or a wargasser. What size tire can I fit with this setup? A 3"? Is there anything crucial that I'm missing? I'm gonna get the forks shaved down, but haven't totally decided whether to keep the front brake, will the stock one even fit? Anyone have any pics of that front end setup?
