Oil pressure gauge on the cheap (Sportster)
Oil pressure gauges are relatively cheap, got mine for i think $30, anyway get you a 18" hose kit for a grease gun you can buy a elbow fitting if you want to screw in were the oil pressure switch is (1/8 NPT) I just screwed the hose right in (Teflon tape) were the oil pressure switch was, and connected the gauge with a coupling (1/8 NPT) made a bracket from a 1" 1/2" pipe hanger and and 1" 1/2" no hub band (cut to fit) bolted it to a frame bracket that came with a steering damper I had, took all of 30 min to install.

Speedo came with a mounting bracket, I bolted to the motor mount, speedo is isolated with rubber grommets from the mounting bracket so no heat gets to the speedo and they absorb the vibes pretty good also, size is 80mm see link for speedo.

Where did you screw the hose into? Is it where the sender for the light goes?
