    Rattle-can paint job:

Satin Black... let it cure for a week or so, then final assembly.

        Same frame, different location:

Moved inside to begin build. Paint still needs to cure a bit longer... really trying my patience, I'm ready now.

I built one (a Kraft Tech st) a couple years ago. Dude, cut those rear fender mounts OFF. Here's mine, '97 Evo. This is a Low Budget Build. My favorite around town.

Your scoot looks great with the swingarm mount rear fender... I can remove the struts and mount a fender to the swingarm later, but got to give them a try first.

I didn't want the rear fender to be 4 or 5 inches above the tire and since it was going to be a 1 person ride... I cut them off.

What Speedo are you using? One of the good ideas I found here is using a Bicycle Speedometer, Works like a Champ!

Making progress, though it's hard to see:

Starter installed, lathe time required to establish proper clearance on the pinion gear. Sourced heim-joint for shift linkage, used a button head stainless bolt for clearance between shift and front cylinder. Sizing a stainless button head to mount speedo sensor to transmission... all the little things that go into fitting the puzzle together.

                              More of the little things:

Removed OEM chrome oil tank, replaced with Kraft Tech oil tank... soon to be Satin Black. Mounted jiffy-stand and mounted regulator to front of frame.

Kraft Tech top engine mount. Marine grade tinned wire ordered for wiring harness... will 5 colors be enough?

                                Triple-tree, swingarm, tanks:

A few wires starting to appear... oil-filter mount installed.
