Cool! I remember sitting in a Mack Recovery truck , checking out the controls, the gas pedal was a beauty, cast in metal with that logo across it.

      Like the truck.
I like the bulldog standing flat like you have him much better. On most truck emblems he is going up hill. So most drivers of other brands referred to them as squatting bulldogs.

        Never heard of that before
Going up hill? it maybe because the hood mounted one the front paws are on a plinth.

          Homemade risers.

Here's some risers I made. Didn't have a mill at the time so all made on a lathe.

            Some polished ally side panels.
I made these from a sheet of 1.7mm ally. As the bottom rail doesn't follow the line of the top rail the panels had to be bent and twisted to follow the rails.
The panels are mounted in rubber for vibration. One single grommet at the rear which slips over an ally bullet, the front is secured to the battery box via two stainless allen heads through positive stop T nuts in Rubber grommets. Some pics of the fabrication process.

Here's the battery box they are secured to. also mounted via Rubber grommets, I bent and welded this up from 3mm aluminium. The battery sits on a neoprene mat inside the box and a neoprene piece under the top clamp.
