    paughco s120e frame kickstand question

I have a Paughco s120e frame and I need help finding a kickstand. The tab welded on the frame is 1/2" thick and the kickstand needs to be roughly 10"-10 1/2" long. Thanks.

      Epic lurking noted!

Call Paughco. Welcome to Chop Cult.

Looks like it takes a stock sidestand.

The tech guy at Paughco is pretty good. I think his name is Jason, he knows all there is to know about these frames.

the stock kickstand off which bike? i have a sportster kickstand here and it requires two tabs to mount, but the frame only has one.

I'm finding it hard to believe that I'm the only one asking this question, online at least. a google search for "s120e kickstand" and "kickstand for paughco frame" just leads me right back to this thread.

I did call Paughco but they told me that "they usually run the peg mounted kickstand" like on big twins. But that isn't possible with a sportster frame as the forward peg mounts are not there.

From the looks of the picture, a stock jiffy stand from an XL, '78 or earlier (and maybe a few years later, I'm not sure about the year breaks) would fit the tab on that frame. I think that's what farmall was referring to.

That's Ironhead stand kmanator posted is the style which should fit.

The early big twin style is of course a better stand and IMO the best sidestand style in motorcycling. It's easy to weld a suitably drilled and tapped plate to any frame to use those.

                    Example aftermarket plate:
