The last 3 years I've been building a cafe racer, my intent is to build a real performer. But I want to do it in the flavour of the 60's bikes making and doing as much as I can mostly with a grinder and welder.
Parts bought are budget pieces that I then modify for my purpose.
Where possible I recycle parts and and try to make any new parts lighter than those removed so far reducing weight over 40 lbs.
There are many parts I don't have pictures of everything and my camera skills suck.
        This is just a start.
The headlight shroud was made from the offcut of the shortened front guard.

Some more bits made under my house.
The cable tray was made from the side of a dish washer
The front end lift was made from a golf club trolley

To help the GO part of my SV650 cafe racer, I made a offset key to advance the standard timing 4 deg. made from a piece of 5mm steel and used a angle grinder, file. And while apart I used a friends lathe to lighten the flywheel and used roller skate bearings to balance it.
