Ironhead tank and evo carb

I had Joel845 from 845 Cycles do an Ironhead gas tank for me... I want to run it on my 1995 xlh1200. I am having a hard time finding a pet cock that fits the tank but still has the vacuum hose for the carb... I've seen people with the peanut tanks so there has to be a way around this... Can i just cap off the vacuum line or will that make my chop run shitty?? At a wall....

The vacuum line splits off the carb, one end to the tank and one end to the voes. You can take off the Y shaped splitter and just run the one line from the voes and use a normal petcock.
