I went to Vegas over the summer.....I get there on a Friday morning and my bros were already set-up at the pool. I got changed and went to the pool....I spent like 80% of my time at that pool. Stayed til Monday. I gotta see if I can find some pics from that trip....it was a shitload of fun.

One of my bros ended up in the hospital, got a text from security that they had him and he was not doing good.....another bro hooked up with a squirting cougar, she had her brother waiting in the hallway while my bro fucked the shit out of her......another bro met Run from Run DMC....another bro saw a dude get stabbed.....a 4,000.00 bar bill...then was the guy with the horse head mask....the dudes with full beards and speedos....almost fighting a mime....a goat guy on stilts....the snow in the club....it was a fun weekend!

I've been to Vegas a few times. I rented a bike from Eagleriders ,
And rode out to the Valley of Fire and then back to Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam. Was a good time.

Then spent time on the strip. The new part of town is ok. But the old strip downtown is more fun. Get your room in the newer part and go gamble and party down town.

    Check out Fremont street.

If you like NIRVANA, come to VINYL (inside the Hard Rock hotel), and check out NIRVANA tribute band, Smells Like NIRVANA. Sat, Jan 31. 10pm, FREE, All Ages. You should hit the Strip for sure just for the visual. The Hoover Dam is pretty awesome too. If you like skanky bars, you can hit the Double Dam or the Dive Bar. Fremont Street is cool too if you wanna see some of "old" Vegas.

I'll second getting some drinks in the Double Down, awesome juke box and real dirty place. Fremont St. is a trip too, the best mix of Vegas weirdos in town. Valley of Fire is awesome too.

There's a spot right outside of Primm(Stateline) where you can pop off some rounds if that's your thing. It's not a range, just a spot in the desert set up for getting some rounds off. There's also Primm, they have an outlet mall and three casinos. One has a roller coaster. Definitely have to gamble some if it's your first time. You can also get some fireworks outside of North Vegas at the Moapa Paiutes Indian Res.

Lived here for 17 years, and only go to the strip if I have to go there for work, but all kinds of off the wall shit to do. This Friday is a thing called "The Balloon Master Show" at a place called amazing clowns. Hosted by a guy who does fucked up balloon sculptures with a numerous co conspirators who do burlesque, fucked up skits, and just about any wrong fucked up thing you can think of. Lots of shit to see if you get a bike to ride, too. Nelson's Landing is a cool spot that is just a few miles out of town, and really cool spot to visit. Old mining town that basically got abandoned and left just as it was decades ago. Was featured in a few movies, including "3,000 Miles from Graceland."

    A few more suggestions

    - For cool sights, check out Red Rock Canyon and ride through the loop or ride up to Mount Charleston and have a few drinks at the lodge
    - Hogs and Heifers Saloon is always fun
    - Triple George Grill, old school vibe and great food.
    - Have a few great beers in Boulder City at Boulder Dam Brewing Company

I fucking love Vegas. Its a town where every indulgence can be overindulged. Here are my tips

    - Strip clubs; Only buy drinks that have to be opened. I got drugged at a club once and ended up in the Champagne room. I also ended up with pink eye from motor-boating giant titties the next day.

    - Drinking; its legal to drink on the strip, but don't be an idiot. Vegas looks the other way on a lot of things but, don't fuck up around cops and expect them to be "cool". Don't pee on the street, and don't piss of the locals.

    - Eats; High end dining galore if your into it. If you want to overindulge in buffets, get a buffet of buffet ticket. It's like 60 bucks for 24 hrs of like 10 different buffets. Its overkill for sure but, your in Vegas so...

    - Spots; Double down is cool. There is also a tiki bar somewhere in the ghetto that is decent. Do a lot of people watching. Mullets run wild in the streets there. Stick around the strip and Downtown.

-Chicks; People seem to have this "anything goes" attitude when there. Take advantage of that with the ladies. I met a beautiful girl that I continued a 4 yr long sexual relationship with that culminated in going to nude swingers clubs. Good times...

-Chicks(pay4play); Vegas is teeming with ads for hookers. Do yourself a favor and stick to the clubs. If not, I heard there are few legal brothel outside of Vegas. I haven't been there myself...Yet.

All this Vegas talk is giving me the 'itch to go. Ride out to Vegas anyone?

*edit* I forgot about Oscar's. I am a big fan of the movie Casino and a part of it was filmed there. Its an old school steakhouse with great steaks and they have a hot chick go around and talk up the history of Vegas. Its pretty awesome.

Frankie's Tiki Room is not in the ghetto, it's on West Charleston near University Medical Center.

If you're looking for a bar that IS in the ghetto, go to the Hard Hat Lounge in naked city. second only to Dino's for dive bar status in Vegas.
