Since I dug this homemade Line Lap out for a picture to post on the Dragstews/Tattoo custom/special tool thread, it seemed like I oughter put it to work.

    Cases in place.

    Checking progress

Made it to kinda round and sorta straight.

    Better get back at it.

Since I'm a firm believer in not sandblasting cases and these needed cleaning.

I gave em a little soak in warm Pinesol.

then ran em in the dishwasher.

    Got a few goodies today.

Couldn't find any thin wall aircraft tubing at a reasonable price so I bought heavy wall and am turning a few pounds off.

This and 2 more pieces will be the lower frame rail and oil tank.

If you or anyone else needs this, there's a 1941 Sport Scout motor, transmission and primary on Facebook Marketplace in Clover, SC for 3200 asking price. I have no connection to the seller.

Lower frame rail with the 45 welded and the neck kinda mocked up. Will need the bearings to get here so I can reassemble the wheels and forks before I can fit the neck

Took awhile to talk myself into drilling holes in brand new pistons.

    Dusty
OBTW all those holes have peek buttons now and are fitted where even after warming on the wood stove they fall to the bottom of the cylinder.
