Harbor Freight lift table on sale again
Just a heads up that at least around here the harbor freights are having a 3 day tent sale through Sunday and they have the 1,000lbs lift table on sale for $299. I picked one up today and with the purchase of their member discount card, walked out the door just $285 lighter. The thing is a bit of a pig, weighing in at over 300lbs in the crate. So be sure to have help or plan on dropping it onto the garage floor like some fool did.

I got one today. It's a good deal and seems to be a well built lift. I'm going to add a couple more tie down points to the front corners and change out the wheel clamp for something better.

For under $300 you really can't go wrong. Sure there are better lifts out there but not for anywhere near $300.

I'd check craigslist instead for used lifts.
I got my Directlift for $400 on craig's from some guy who bought a $1000 lift to polish his Big Dog "choppa".

I've had one for years. If I were a professional mechanic, I'd buy something better. But, for a guy in his garage it's perfect. I've left my 71 Triumph up on it for a month and my 76 Harley for weeks at a time. Don't leave it on the bottle jack, use the bar they provide and it's dope as hell.

I use one in my shop and you can't beat it for the price. I've had about every type of bike on it from a cb175 to an ultra classic. No complaints.
