I couldn't stand it anymore...I'm not finished with the tank yet, but I had to see it on the bike. It looks freakin awesome if you ask me!

Liking the narrower look and feel.

Going to paint the speedo dash and gas cap black...

Awesome build so far! Been following it as I'm shopping for a new bike and the v star is one of my top picks right now. If i get it I'll be stealing, ahem, borrowing a lot of your ideas. Very cool stuff. Can't wait to see more! Congrats on the new addition to the family!

Small update...I raised the front of the tank up a few inches, nothing drastic but I think it improved the lines a little. Speedo dash has been removed in this pic to get some wrinkle black.

Why do you need a sprung seat if you are retaining the shock? To avoid the problem you mentioned earlier (sudden compression of springs on a bump) why don't you rigid mount it? Just sayin' . . .

Good point, I've actually replaced the shock with a rigid bar because I plan to change up the seat and go with a rigid seat that hugs the fender like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Signature-Viny...pera+signature

Just haven't come off the cheese to order one yet...

badboyz, if it's anything like my 650 was when I went to the pod intakes, it will need rejeted, and the needles shimmed.

Thanks Westboundbiker. I had a feeling it did. But I didn't want to change it if I didn't have to. Thanks again.
