What do you think about that bracket? Mine showed up the other day, and I wasn't impressed.
Nice build btw

Man, i like them. I did spend about an hour filing, sanding, and polishing as much of the casting imperfections out as i could, but i do like the shape of the mount. If they werent back in stock soon, i was planning on making a copy of it in stainless, which would have taken forever.

Adding some lame practical stuff. I didn't want to run a fork bag, or one on the lower rails, so side bag it is. It does fit nicely, and doesn't stick out any more than the primary cover. Re-notched some lowbrow tabs to sit flush with the frame rails. Got the bag ordered with no holes in the back for the straps the bag comes with. It should look not so out of place once the seat is on right above it.
Start on the brake pivot plate, this shit takes forever cutting out with a band saw and filing the radius on the edges.
And also, tomorrow is the last day for voting for Peoples Champ, if you haven't yet, you can vote once on each site. I'd really appreciate the votes guys. Really hoping to make it out to Cooks Corner!

Man this build is first class all the way .the fabrication is second to none. I am building a springer similar to yours ,I cannot find the bushings that center the springs anywhere. Did you make your own? I am using a factory bushing on the perch but I need some for the bridge base .not trying to hijack .can't wait to see how this comes out.

Hey man, sorry I didn't see this sooner. I did make them to center the inner and outter springs, I think the only ones I could find just had a hole for the rod and the springs just sat on top.

Brake mostly finished. Still waiting on brake line parts from JP since they decided to ship each piece individually.. Made a new 5th mount for the trans, waiting until i have my trans plate back from chrome to weld it up, I don't want to have to shim it later on.
Hid the return spring under the boot at the master

Thanks man, I checked that box that says they can wait until all items are in stock to ship all together, and they still sent 4 packages for a brake line.. Got the springer and trans plate back from chrome, had to get some pics in for the final cut for peoples champ.
And got somewhere on the exhaust

Maybe you covered it already, but is that a clearance notch in the front pipe for the foot peg mount?
