XS850 monoshock - first build

Hey all,

I've recently started my first build with a 1980 Yamaha XS850G. Was pretty nasty when I first got it home - engine wouldn't turn over and most of the parts we're rusty.


Here is a couple of pictures along the way.



And this is where we're at now.


Wheels are currently off being powder coated which I'm pretty excited about.
