Painted my first helmet (NSFW)

A lot of lessons learned and a lot of fuck ups along the way. The entire experience was pretty humbling, but I'm stoked about the finished product. Looking forward to painting the rest of the shitty old helmets hanging in my garage.

Started out with a yellow maxon (maybe shoulda' left it that way).
Here it is with the foam and liner separated out and starting to pull some of the decals off using a heavy duty thinner.



Ended up with this odd piece of dick art.

After wetsanding to 1500 and cut & buff.




my buddy pointed out that I should pick up some biltwell goggles. he's smarter than I am, so I'll probably order a pair today.

Penis = you are technically male but that thing isn't going to do anything for anyone but you.

I had a dream where I woke up inside of an elk carcass and had to tear my way out of the ribcage. In the dream I was naked in the winter and had to go into survival mode. Figured when I painted it I wouldn't censor it because a dick doesn't really shock me, especially not my own.
