    Wiring a panhead

I'm going to wire up my 57 panhead that I recently purchased. It has dual plugs. All the schematics that I've seen have a single coil setup. How do I wire the second coil into the schematic below? I'll aslo be putting in fuses where needed. Any other tips would be appreciated

what kind of ignition are you using ?

you would wire the coils according to the instructions that the particular ignition module calls for

this is a stock points setup. With stock coil and a second coil for a dual plug setup (four spark plug wires and 4 plugs). There is absolutely no marking on any of the coils so I'm thinking of wiring it up just like in the diagram above but not sure how to wire up the second coil that I have.

Easy, Wire the first coil like stock or like your diagram
then steal power from the power post of the first coil, run it to the power post of the second coil
Same with the signal wire, from points to first coil signal post then on to second coil signal post.

ok cool. Thanks. So it's sort of a parallel setup.

It's more or less the same as you'd do with a Dyna S. Here's a link to how it's wired

Here is a picture of the second coil. These are the only markings on it. Anyone know which terminal is positive and negative? Or does it not matter with this type of coil ( I doubt thats the case). What make is this coil?
