Thanks dude! I don't have a lot of money to put into it right now being between jobs, but I'm doing what I can with what I've got.

I do! I've been ordering my tires thru PanikSwitch for a couple seasons now. Always got great prices and will mount them while I wait! He's got some great stuff he's built. Did you happen to go to the Bike show at BBs Tattoo this year? I've been staff there for the last two or three years.

That's down the hill from my parents, I saw the burnout smoke, but I didn't get to go

Still waiting on my slugs, but in the meantime I figured I'd get a few things cleaned up. Starting with parts that have been spray painted carelessly

Adjustment bolts were bent, so instead of buying new ones, I made some using some stainless hardware.

Apparently the previous owner swapped the factory coils for these GM HEI units

Cleaned them up the best I could

Cleaned up my engine spacers, because I had 25 minutes where I didn't have to be anywhere.

    My super ghetto polishing lathe

    Done

Cut out the part my lower rail is going to connect to

My slugs are all finished, but they were more expensive than I thought they would be (50 bucks for four made out of TGP) so I'll be picking them up this Friday

Slug has been fitted in, preheated and Roset welded in 4 places, and filed down smooth.

I had thought this side was going to be a complete bitch, but it was actually way easier

Axle plates tacked (I plan on dropping them into the rails a little bit more)

    Slowly getting there

Aaand my Bench is finally cleaned off

    Exhaust gaskets came in today

Polished my float bowls and stuck the carb on just to see what it looks like

Thinking about using a 2.25"x14" truck exhaust tip instead of the megaphone, and just wrapping it in black exhaust wrap.

I was tracking my float bowl screws on the USPS website, and for some stupid frustrating reason, paypal have them my old address. The one that's two hours away, and the one I havnt been at for over a year.

Got the rear wheel on. It's starting to look like a motorcycle again!

Still have to get the upper rails burned on, cross bars made, and gussets made.

    Welded more stuff to it

Worked on this a bit this week too.

49 ford cab, s10 frame shortened 23", bagged, and has a chevy dually rear end, will be a 383 stroker with a five speed. Tons of fun to work on!

I finally got the right size slugs and drilled 4 staggered holes for Roset welds.

    All welded in

Starting on my solo seat. I plan on the entire thing costing me less than 50 dollars. I've spent 6 so far on the hinge

Just a clevis pin, some nylon bushings, and a piece of black iron pipe.

More pictures as I make more progress.
