I feel like the junk pile really needs a latest thoughts thread....total random shit that doesn't necessitate a new thread. What's on yo mind and whatnot

here's mine right now

I was working an estate sale today for some part time cash and the homeowner had a book called "The Ku Klux Klan: Under the Searchlight". Some old couple was there and the wife picked up the book, saying, "look at this, honey". I said, "uh yeah, there's some interesting stuff here, eh?" and she responds with "well, he was in the Klan"

the book sells for 150 bucks, btw

This morning I'm doing service on one of the engines in the boat I run. It's quite warm down in the engine room.
My co-worker sticks his head in (he's right at the controls) and says, "How ya makin' out? Need anything?"

He says.. "OK, I'm gonna go make a pot of coffee." And leaves.
