        Wasatch Front, UT and if it's hairy and you don't mind waiting an hour, I can go east and west on I-80

        Resources: MIG, TIG, plasma, mill, lathe, hand tools, power tools, 12 ton press, 40in shear, 40in brake, drop saw, forklift, 10ft trailer, talented mechanic friend just a couple of houses down that owns a repair shop, know a bunch of the parts buys around town

        Other: comfy couch or lawn, cool-ass wife, 110-lb dog that loves attention. Doesn't even have to be a time of need. Kick it for a bit and have a burger off the grill.

                I think this is a pretty sweet idea. Does anyone use Couchsurfing? That would be a great way to keep this all organized. Just start a Couchsurfing group and it automatically makes a map with points where the members in the group are located.

                          I live in Statesville NC.Near I40 I77 split.I have some tools,a shop, a truck with a trailer.If you ride I have a welcome mat.I am not to far from a HD shop and a couple Indy shops.
