Default Sporty lowering kit: Does it suck?

Wondering if anyone knows about the 1-3 inch lower kit/ bracket that Road 6 Customs sells online? Its just a bolt on bracket that extends the rear shocks outward and drops the rear end. Before I buy and try and possibly die I was curious if anyone out there has tried this product. And if anyone with tech advice can tell me if this is a safe alternative than switching to 10" shocks? Much appreciated!

Not sure about that particular company but lowering blocks/kits have been used for ever with no issues.

I installed the lowering brackets and had no problems.
