    Evo Dyna Wheel upgrade questions

Looking at a Ultima King 18x5.5 rear wheel to fit on my 97 Dyna SG. I see lots of guys running these on later year bikes. Do I have the room to fit this with a 180 tire? The signals are gone, I will be running Burly slammers. Will the belt need to be swapped for a narrower one? OR would running an 18x3.5 be easier? Just looking for some info before dropping the $$ on parts. Any help is GREATLY appreciated

You can fit a 150 tire back there if you change to the newer narrower belt/rear pulley, (not exactly "bolt-on") or run a chain conversion. A 180 tire won't fit, (ass end of the frame is too narrow on the 97). We used to run the 18x3.5" rims out back in the 90's but now it's getting harder to find tires for them.

Yeah I figured I would have to go with a 3.5" which Im cool with. Was looking more for an upgrade in diameter over width. What would you do buy the narrow belt or go for the chain kit? I know the chain kit cost more but I like the look of the chain better.
