Does anyone know how similar xr1200 forks are to the vrod muscles?

I wanna bring the front and rear of the bike down 1in and I know the forks are similar diameter but not sure as far as guts go. I ask cause progressive makes a kit for vrod muscle but doesnt for the xr1200.

If I remember correctly, the vrod inverted forks are different left and right. I am positive they are not the same as the xr1200's internally.

If they are not xr1200x big piston forks they are the same,just as an aside I have fitted xr1200 forks and triple clamps to my dyna I just swapped the steerer tubes so my dyna still had the steering lock.
